My Developer Tools List #1
Here's a list of things off the top of my head and based on a quick search for what I have on my USB among other devices on my PC... A collection of things that come in very handy for a programmer/developer and advanced computer user. (Warning: Some free, others aren't...)

- HxD - http://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/
- Resource Hacker - http://angusj.com/resourcehacker/
- CFF Explorer/PE Detective/Signature Explorer - http://www.ntcore.com/exsuite.php
- PEiD
- IDA Pro - https://www.hex-rays.com/products/ida/index.shtml
- IL Spy - http://ilspy.net/
- Lister
- Regshot - http://sourceforge.net/projects/regshot/
- Unlocker - http://www.emptyloop.com/unlocker/
- Wireshark - http://www.wireshark.org/
- CPUID - http://www.cpuid.com/
- HeapMemView - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/heap_memory_view.html
- SublimeText2 (Notepad++ alternatively) - http://www.sublimetext.com/2
- curl (Compiled exe version is good)
- Debugging tools for Windows* - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/...63009.aspx (Comes with lots of good utilities)
- Sysinternals Suite
- Various tools from Nirsoft - http://nirsoft.net/
- Nullsoft Scriptable Install System - http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Main_Page

I have a ton more, but I just installed Win8 not too long ago, so it's in the process of being rebuilt to the way I like my system still. Haven't got everything set in stone the way I want quite yet.

I love the fact that you have common sense.

Most people don't provide links.

So, thanks.
