Personally, I know I've gotten a lot of people into anime simply by showing them Sword Art Online. While many people debate whether or not it's plot/story is worthy of the attention it's gotten, I still believe people like it for a reason. Regardless, I saw a clip where the director/novelist of the SAO were answering questions.



As you can see, both of them would love for it to continue, but Ito appears to have his hands full already. Do you guys think they will make an adaptation of the next arc? I have only read the first light novel (from the Aincrad arc), but I've looked at a couple of spoilers on accident. Hopefully SAO will continue on, because I really want to see it visually.

I'd love to see them continue on with it. I've only just finished the Aincrad arc in the anime but a good friend of mine read the manga series and she's hooked. However as good as the books may be, I don't think printed source could match those vivid fight scenes. I look forward to watching the next arc and finding out what happens, but I'd really like for something to be there when I finish.

It's true. Fights are more vivid on the screen than in print. However, the character's feelings and thoughts are more vivid in print. The fight scenes are for show and were open to interpretation, the thoughts and emotion weren't. I would say the light novels are pretty good and there's definitely something to be gained from them.

What most people don't get is that not every anime is the same. You have to explore and figure out which anime you like.

I personally hope it continues on as well. The storyline was great and the animation was phenomenal.
