Modafinil #1
I've been putting this drug aside for years. It was the first thing my sleep doctor prescribed me for narcolepsy and the first time I took it was 200mg in the morning. My head hurt like a mofo so I never took it. Nowadays I see the narcolepsy taking over my life so I went a picked up my prescription and only took 100mg. It felt a lot better and I actually stayed up for nearly 19 hours yesterday! I haven't been able to do that since age 11 or 12. Also fully functional! I'm kinda excited, but will be taking half dose every other day. I haven't depended on a drug and I don't want to start. It's just a one month test for now. Anyone experimented with this ?

It's great that you found something to help your condition. Never heard of Modafinil, but it sounds safer than a lot of the stimulants they often prescribe for narcolepsy.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with taking prescription drugs as per your doctor's clinical diagnosis of your condition.

It's great to read you're on the Improve.

Too many people are effected by prescription drugs, more so than illegal drugs. It is definitely a major problem in the UK

RE: Modafinil #5
I've only recently gained a prescription for modafinil due to narcolepsy. Prior to that I used it for focus enhancement and energy (not just modafinil but armodafinil as well.) I never got headaches with it but I'm glad to see the headaches stopped and the stuff works for you. I don't take it on daily like I'm supposed to only before anything particularly risky (when I start driving I don't want the narcolepsy to fuck me so there's that.)

Hey if you've got any questions about its usage or other wakefulness promoters or even other nootropics and drugs in general let me know.

I looked into it a few times for no reason, just my usual research. It seems pretty interesting considering that it seems safer than other similar-ish stimulants.

Some, and possibly the majority, may be due to abusing the prescribed dosage (a friend whom I haven't seen for 20 years was guilty of that), or the medication "brand" Is not suited to their condition.

For Instance, one type of antidepressant may work fine for one patient, but not for another. It's not a misdiagnosis, but rather being a human guinea pig until a suitable brand Is found.

Very true, but Modafinil doesn't have the same potential for abuse as something like Adderall.

Right! He moved on to Adderall during my testing phase and my gosh, I'd rather a splitting headache from the higher dosage of Modafinil than feel my heart act as weird as it did on that. That's pretty much why I said no stims, but so far so good with the lower dose.

I guess the only thing for now is there are minor headaches even with proper hydration but very manageable . There's thing tangling feeling... idk how to to describe it. It's not itchiness but it's kinda able to progress to that if I think about it. Idk if that makes sense. If you had any weird symptoms like that, how long did it take to go away?
