Tidal's selling point is that it pulls not only FLAC quality but the actual unmixed streams of audio along with the proper mixing information giving the "clearest most unadulterated sound."

It does provide some increase in quality for the music that is available. However, for the price its kind of ridiculous and I find FLAC to be very much equivalent to its sound quality.

I couldn't have received a better response through hours of researching via Google.
