That is no surprise. Hackers are indeed hired by governments or private firms. I highly doubt they go to jail, they are far too precious

Encourages me to do the biggest hack the world has yet to see.... I doubt anyone who did this or near caliber of cracking, would ever, get hired as a professional and given a leash only to hang themselves with. He who has power does no share it. So remember that when you are being interrogated for crimes you committed and when asked to come work for the very institution, that violates human rights and their privacy every single day of our lives.

Not sure if these people are cowards, or just opportunists seeking the next evolution in career, or if they just don't give a fuck about the end goal...
