Minimal Ubuntu themed Android Setup #1
Hey guys, so many of you Ubuntu users or fans might know that Ubuntu is coming to mobile phones; in fact Ubuntu has what looks like a Nexus 4 running it on their website. I'm pretty eager to get Ubuntu, but until then, I can't. So I got the next best thing. A minimal Android setup, Ubuntu themed!

Today I'll show you guys how to get this setup. I'll be using a Galaxy S III, but your phone shouldn't really matter.

Here is a screenshot of what we're trying to achieve.

Basically I have a text widget showing the battery percentage and local temp. in ºF. We've also got a live wallpaper that acts as a clock. To remove things like dock and the status bar, we've got a launcher from the Play store. Each of the apps and their specifics will be mentioned later.

That's a nice, yet simple setup.
Me personally, the only use I've ever had for Android was installing it in Virtualbox just to play around with the differing Iso.'s of varying versions.
And if I ever had Android on a Smartphone, I wouldn't hesitate to install Ubuntu Mobile once it reached market for stable use.
