Mineral oil PC #1
This build was originally a project that Luke Lafreniere from Linus Tech Tips did back when he was in high school, and it's also the project that got him through university with scholarships and hired at Linus Media Group in the first place. I think it's an awesome concept, and I'm looking into creating something along the same lines after I finish my personal rig (don't wait up for that, it'll be a while). More recently, LTT did a build log on an updated, not-stuck-in a-fishtank version of the mineral oil rig, and that was pretty cool, too (playlist link).

It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

My mind just exploded.

This looks awesome, a completely submerged PC!!!

Although, why don't you like the fish tank? I love it.

The fish tank is novel, but it's not exactly organized or practical.

This just sketches me out. Looks really cool, though.

I've always wanted to build the literal desktop. Built into a desk.

I did one of these when I was in high school. Was the easiest way to get a CPU to 3ghz (back before that was common)

It just feels so WRONG! Putting your PC in liquid, I mean.

This is extremely high maintenance by the way, don't do this if you can avoid it.
(Unless you want a rad fucking system that is)

It's not high maintenance at all man... Just lose all the fans and use an automotive oil pump + filter and you're good.
