Minecraft Versions 06-17-2014, 09:08 AM

I love playing minecraft, In my opinion, it is the best game in the world. Minecraft has gone from its beta version to what it has become today. I am curious what you, [username], think about the different versions. Which version do you think is the best? Which version do you think is the worst?

I don't know if there's a "better" version really. I've been playing it since just after pre-alpha beta 1.0, The thing that I hate though is how almost all servers now have little kids on it. What also happens is that because they're still children they think it's OK to pay 50$ for some ingame items so they can be just as cool as their friends which parents seem to think is fine.
I'm glad they put in the rule that you can't make it pay2win anymore and I hope they're going to enforce it.
I'm all for donations as long as it doesn't give you any extra power like buying diamond armor and shit.

Very true. There are very few servers that don't involve upgrades when people play. At least PVP servers don't. Mojang has been trying to do that, making sure that servers don't have paying IRL money for upgrades. But I don't think that will affect servers that run bukkit or spigget. Since those types of servers don't go through Mojang.
