I love the snapshots. The rendering is kinda glitchy for me, though. Some chunks just randomly turn invisible.

I like the update just before horses, it was the most fun. More villages. Easier to find things. I like simplicity. minecraft is moving on from that gen.

Well I think all Minecraft updates have their ups and downs like 1.5 there was some cool new redstone mechanics, but bone meal was nerfed. I think all in all most of the updates even out to just be okay, but there are the few that can qualified good or bad.
