Normally I post stuff of a very technical nature, but today I wanted to share a story with you.

1 semester of college down, whoopie! I go home for the break, when the final grades come in, I had a B- in a course, that was basically a computer course. I WTF for most of the rest of the break ( I'm at a crappy satellite school for the first year, and I need to maintain a 3.5 GPA, so a B- is REALLY bad). I email my teacher and ask him defuq happened, and if I can see a grade breakdown anywhere. He emailed me back saying that I didn't turn in a major project, and a few other minor assignments. I replied that I did indeed turn in all the projects he assigned, and have the e-mail record to prove it. (computer class, we emailed him most of our assignments). He said if I can get him the missing ASAP work, he would "see what I can do".

S]o now, I'm scrambling to get screenshots of my email, and find all my work from the past semester, all unorganized on a 500 Gb external SSD. I for the life of me couldn't find the major project (that shit was worth 200/1500 points) so I decided to scramble and re-do it. It was an html/javascript page, and I had the basic template from one of my other projects, but I didn't have nearly enough time to re-write all the javascript. So I did the only logical thing, I starting writing scripts, that would generate the code for me. Effectively, writing code that wrote code. An interesting experience, but what the hay. Anyway, I just got everything done, and emailed him the screenshots of my email, and the missing stuff.

I apologize if this ended up being a big wall of text, it just felt so good to be able to find a solution. How were your days?

There are programs out there designed to make programming most scripts really, really easy.

I never learned to write dreamweaver macros... (do those even exist?)

Not to my knowledge, the point was that there are tools that no doubt do more or less what you spent time programming.
