Mayweather v. McGregor post-fight discussion

Title pretty much sums it up, what did you think of the fight?

It turned out pretty much as I expected, but I think the refereeing (from a hall of fame ref, no less) was kind of bullshit imo. All the grabbing and hammer punches McGregor was throwing should have cost him tons of points, even if it didn't matter in the end.

I was surprised that he even managed 10 rounds. The hugging was ridiculous.

It was kind of obvious Mcgregor was gonna get fucked up. He didn't stand a chance in a boxing arena

I was actually quite surprised McGregor almost went the distance.

I watched bits and pieces of the fight and although It wasn't the best form of boxing (far from It), at least It didn't end In the first round. As such, not only did It provide entertainment, but 10 rounds also demonstrated the caliber of his boxing. We now have some sort of Insight (at this point) as to what he Is/Isn't capable of achieving.

I do like how they are after the match, it shows that most of what they've been saying was all just to hype up the event like most people already saw. I mean you're going up against a guy, why be friendly. They have good sportsmanship and handled it great after they fought. Although can't say the same for some of the fans, seen so many comments on both sides being super salty and shit talking still. Funny how a persona can carry on after it's done.
