@"Dismas"

Add a mathematics sub-forum. The lounge isn't worthy of such awesomeness, and maths links in pretty well with the purpose of this forum.

All in favour?

(Please @"Dismas", just fucking do this.)

Anyway you need basic maths to understand coding.

Exactly! I'm surprised no one's suggested this before...

I guess we may as well have one, I mean, we have a stoner section, so at least this will be a new section that actually adds something to the forum.

I couldn't bring myself to remove the hood classic above, enjoy it as a time capsule.

Indeed, mathematics might actually teach someone something instead of a bunch of fegs talking about how much weed SWIM does.

This.

I agree that we should have a subforum, but will it be active an active forum? Are most of us here into math? I know, I would post, but I'm not sure if I'd receive much help from problems I can't solve.

I love it. I've got a few threads planned already.

I like you and all, but I'm just going to be honest. I don't think anyone will actually use it. It'll just end up something that was added by user request and then dies. The assembly section is a perfect example.

I literally only know of one person on this forum that knows Assembly, @"Adorapuff", but with maths, it's something that everyone knows and can relate to. I mean, the person that doesn't know maths has to have something wrong with them.

Plus, the section could increase activity with users able to post threads asking for help. (Rules apply ofc)

I know assembly, dopamine knew assembly, Kurosaki/Alan turing knows it, blackhatcat knows it, the list could go on.

Math just isn't something that teens on a *security* forum pertain to. Unless you're talking about linear algebra and algorithms, I just don't think it's going to happen.
