It's 1 or 16. Arguments can be made for both, but it's 1 if you correctly use PEMDAS to parse.

It depends on how you write it. If you meant 8/(2(2+2)) = 8/2 * 1/(2+2) = 1, if you meant 8/2 * (2+2) = 16
