So. How about we implement a marketplace system, such as EzTradeSystem, so members can give Positive, Negative or Neutral vouches for TRADES. No, this is not covered by Rep. This is a completely different system that can be set so it is only shown in Marketplace threads. Aka, the Vouch System.

Another thing that could be added is a "Vouch Thread" sub-section where members can create a SINGLE thread, then people can go to said thread to give details about the trade (was it a purchase, sale or a trade of items/currency), when it happened, the value of the transaction, if a middle man was used, who went first, etc. etc. as well as their vouch - I'm sure you could find something to make this all automated and only able to be posted via a form of sorts; that is if you are not wanting to install something more professional like EzTradeSystem.

Benefits of Using This

• It will allow members to see who is a trustworthy trader.
  
• Members who may be new can have more faith in a member with a high reputation, however the rep isn't for anything but mere activity, rendering it useless for a sale.
  
• We can view who is an active seller and when their last deal was.
  
• Allows for a separate "reputation system" that is strictly marketplace related, and it can't be abused with a -/+10 or similar, it can only be done on a case to case basis, thus causing less chance of abuse (can be monitored).
  
• Separates those who have a reputation for being a meme, nice member, etc. from those who are active sellers and can be trusted. Friendly =/= Trusted.
  

Cons of Using This:

• Will end up making another thing for the staff to monitor.
  
• Cannot be completely monitored, thus there can be "vouch abuse."
  
• New Members who have only been on the forum for a short time, or those will little posts, will have less of a chance to do deals with members if they have no reputation, so if a "Vouch System" is implemented it may lessen that already small chance.
  
• If the ezTrader System is used, it will have to be configured for site use before it is able to be aesthetically pleasing and functioning properly.
