Man Creates Unholy Alexa/Furby Hybrid

If a furby, wasn't creepy enough, this guy decided to put a Raspbery Pi Zero into one for use with Amazon Alexa. So now when the AI becomes self aware it can kill us all while being more terrifying than anything skynet can dream up.

I used to love Furbies and Alexa is fun, but that is creepy as hell.

I actually find it neat, I do however think he needs a better speaker, you can barely make out what it is saying over the sound of the gears.

I thought of that too actually. Reminds me of old 90s mechanical toys where the TV adverts make it seem so smooth and cool... then when you get it, all you can hear is ungodly whirring noises.

Now it does have the ability to spy on it's users, now all it needs is to have it's eyes bored out and a few tiny cameras put in place.
