Right, I've always been a fighter, started boxing at 8, got a fair grounding in judo at 11, but I always left these once I got the basics down.
I'm sick of getting in trouble for fighting so I'm looking to start up fighting again and I want a combination that'll allow me to compete in MMA once I hit 18 as that is the legal age.

Currently considering a mix of muay thai and BJJ, the gym I would be training at has a cage warriots champion/akuma champion so it's safe to say the training is decent.
The BJJ side is also classed by medals won as the best in the country, beating the Gracie gyms and they are the people who founded the sport!
So obviously muay thai is a given as it is the best striking sport, but what should I go to for groundwork? Wrestling? BJJ? Judo? Something else?

What are you most comfortable with, and which of the above will provide the best foundation to pursue a career In MMA?

Well like muay thai is a no brainer as its what everyone does.
But for the groundwork, you see fighters like Khabib use wrestling to fucking dominate everyone, but then you see people like Ronda Rousey using judo, even though she was a shit fighter she was good at judo.
BJJ is well rounded but it doesn't allow for the aggression of wrestling, from the time I spent doing judo I personally found the groundgame the hardest and BJJ would probably help me with that as it is orientated around submissions.
Honestly I don't know lmao
