I never completely give up on a project. I might scrap the current iteration, but I keep trying until it works (at least partly). Let me know if you need any help learning. Like I said, I would love to have some help, so when you get up to speed give me a shout! Good luck in learning.

Do you have perhaps a GitHub of the current revision or something? I only know enough Assembly to do basic RE but I'd love to learn more!
