I've been in like 3 long distance relationships, if they work for someone then I'm all for them going about it.
The 3 I was in all lasted about 2 or 3 months, then again I was a lot younger.
People say they don't last long, I don't believe that entirely, I think quite a few do.
It's just about loyalty and faith, if both have that, they can work it out, but without those, I think the relationship is bound to fail.

I met my girlfriend online and I can gladly say that we've been dating for a year and 2 months now. We've seen each other twice and are seeing each other again in March. I've honestly never been this happy with anyone and love the relationship. People like to give us shit about it saying that we won't make it. But we have had no problems since we started. How about you guys, have you ever been in a long distance relationship or thought about one?

I've been in a few online relationships. I don't have an issue with them, and I don't like how people tend to look down on them but they CAN work. I'm leaning on something that might turn into a relationship right now, if so, it'll be a long distance one...but I don't mind. Like it's been said, if you have loyalty and faith, it can work.

My last relationship was a long distance one, and everytime I'd see her, it was just great. Unfortunately, it didn't work out, but it wasn't because of the distance. Things just happen. I still stand by my first statement on this.

Yeah, most LDR that I've known of or been in haven't broken up from the distance, but other factors. Maybe things such as jealousy, fighting, parents, etc...
