Linux. Linux on a Mac bare metal common problems are audio. Kali purple doesnt work on bare metal yet. Linux is open source and much easier to use but i guess not for beginners mostly

Linux is better than win you can do anything on linux also kali i dont prefer windows at all

Both linux & windows, linux offers high customization while windows has more support for common softwares. Just keep it mind to remove windows' bloatwares, maybe with AtlasOS or so.
Tbh i agree that windows' sucks but the reality is most people uses it on their PC, and it has better support than anything else. If u're working in a group variability of OS provides no good.

I've been using the Windows platform since the good ol' 16-bit Windows 3.1, mainly for compatibility reasons and ease of use.

Windows is my daily driver and it is the OS my workplace uses, too. I like it. I do have a Mint and Ubuntu distro running inside VMs but that's just for fun's sake. Never used macOS - never owned an Apple product. But not because I don't like it, because it is so much more expensive. From an aesthetics point of view (GUI etc.) they look great.

Windows. I have all the drivers and software limitarion (mainly in videogames) of Linux but It's true that I have few VM with different Linux for different purposes.

MAC never.

Windows 10 LTSC IoT for Gaming and Editing, and Gentoo Linux for everything else.

I plan on switching to Windows 11 LTSC once it rolls out next year, and is confirmed to be stable.
