[Links] Malware Removal Schools #1
Hello HC members

I want to make you aware of the fact that there are several schools that train malware fighters for free.
What you have to give back to these sites is your work as a malware fighter afterwards: They train you and expect you to disinfect systems of the users on their site.

I can imagine that some people here would be interested in this. The training takes several months, often over a year. The duration is up to you and how much work you put into it. Note: The training teaches you how to deal with infections by communication via a forum.

Here are the links to some of these schools:

Spoiler:
Last but not least a little tip:
If you are about to get an IT related degree or already have one or work in such a job, don't mention it in your application. These schools don't want to train people who might use the knowledge for their career or earn money with it.

I am interested if some of you actually apply or get into this training and if some of you people already have experience with it.

Regards
Deque

Nice! Thank you for sharing. After some time going to try one of these.
I have some experience with viruses, but this wouldn't harm to try. (Could you please recommended one?)

Or people could just learn to backup their files and format their computer when they get infected? It really is that simple and regardless of what people say, that is what 90% of people end up doing for the assurance that the malware/virus won't return. I personally feel that these Malware Removal courses are overcomplicating a simple task.

Also, http://spywarehammer.com seems to be down.
