Scanning a RAT is obviously going to return positive, infected or not. It's really just a tossup with hacking tools
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

If it helps, I dug deep into it with a few tools and nothing immediately obvious jumped out at me. Be very wary though.

RE: Plasma 1.7 - Official Release #6
Nice share, hopefully clean and some people will get some use out of the tool. Smile

You can see with malwr if there are any hosts connected to the file.
A Remote Administration Tool is not gonna have any host connected to it :/
But the stub will.

RE: Plasma 1.7 - Official Release #8
You can as well scan on any site you wan't, i don't post infected crap. If you don't trust me, you can as well use sandbox or run it in VM... i don't think its that hard..

@Lux, why 'gas' me when i haven't done anything wrong...

Let's all remain friendly and wait for a staff to make a choice here.

RE: Plasma 1.7 - Official Release #10
Apparently our rules have been misinterpreted. Scans are not required. However, we do ban accounts that are intentionally trying to infect others. As with anything, download and use at your own peril. Virus scans (especially for content of this nature) will always show positive.
