I think you're saying this because updates can patch the crack. if i find an application that im cracking containing code to update files, i will make sure to disable it and make it non-working,just to keep the crack up to date. For manual updates, i will create a new patch or change the title of an already working crack to say the patched files applies to both versions

Stating the obvious, It's precisely what I do when accidentally executing the program before applying the crack.

Yes It does.

I should've been a little more clear with my post. I'm referring to other programs that I've experienced over the years.
