Asus K42Ja over here. I purchased this way back 2011 and it's still kicking after 2 years of use. I can still run latest games at mid-settings/tweaked ones.

I got an Alienware m17x r3 2+ years ago, biggest POS I ever put money into.
Windows did not work at all on it, so Installed crunchbang and used it as if it was a $50 thinkpad.
If I ever buy a gaming laptop again it would probably be a razer blade, but I'm not a huge fan of gaming on a laptop anyways.
