Hi, My laptop turns off when not touching constantly at the keyboard
The battery and the recharger are fine

any hints?

Hardware problems?

Is It a backlit keyboard, and does It turn off when only running on battery or when It's also plugged In?

This sounds like the sleep function on windows. Have you checked your power settings?

I've experienced the OP's Issue many times and what you've mentioned Is exactly what I Initially thought, however It failed to fix the problem - and that was on a number of systems.

It may well suffice for the OP, but It wasn't the case for myself.
