It really might be worth looking at January sales and deals for some of the more expensive ones as they may go under 1k with the sales so it will be a hella deal, and hopefully last you longer than other brands.

Also, 1k in what currency?

I know there are some predators that have some good specs that are about 1200GBP but will likely drop to 1k with sales. Or there's the Acer nitros which tend to be a bit cheaper. Most of them have 3060s or 3050 tis for GPU, CPUs are intel i7 range and about 500GB SSDs, and 8-16GB RAM. I think that's roughly what you can get with your budget, though it depends on currency you're shopping with ofc. 1k in USD is not the same as 1k Euro or GBP xD
It would be 1k in USD lol. Could you also send me a link to this Acer nitro you type of? I'm looking online and there's different versions and it's kinda weird.

Forgive me, I was looking at a British tech store, so that probably won't be of much help. Also, I'm not familiar with using them myself. @"mothered" may be able to recommend a particular model though!

Until then:

Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop, 9th Gen Intel Core i5-9300H, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650

If you can spare like an extra $100 go for a better 10th or 11th gen processor and AVOID upgrading to Win11 - it's literally all the old design repackaged.

Around 3 weeks ago, I've purchased three Acer Nitro 5 laptops - 11800H CPU, 512 GB NVMe SSD, 32 GB of Ram and the RTX 3060 GPU. I'm still waiting for another model to come In with the RTX 3080.

They're excellent machines to say the least.

It's worth checking out deals during this time of year too. There's several companies offering a few hundred dollars off here and there. You may be able to get a $1100-$1300 laptop for $1000. It's definitely worth hunting around for deals too.

Prior to that, It was retailing for 2,195$ and I was monitoring It closely for many weeks. The moment the cost went down, I purchased three laptops and added 16 GB of Ram to each one. A total saving of 2,100$. Taking the specs Into account, you won't find a brand new unit anywhere for that price.
