He is a journalist whom runs his own blog. He would interview people and turn and twist their words to get them locked up / fired / etc to make his stories more popular. He is known for slanderous comments about others for his gain

A lot of people don't realize is that he was being ddosed due to him getting 2 people arrested as mentioned in my above post.

Then I'm glad his site is no longer around. So weird it took so long to happen though.

Again as I mentioned above his site never really shut down officially. The servers (I believe) he was on were free (probably a sponsorship) and they decided to discontinue his services due to band with usuage  / traffic from attack. Google shield quickly offered their services claiming to do " what no one else will" naturally a publicity thing. His site was back up and running shortly after the initial attack....

That's so odd, Google accepting someone who ruins careers? They're throwing out their values just to show someone who just got booted off by a massive DDoS attack can be protected.
