The new Seth Rogen movie "The Interview" is about a plan to assassinate Kim Jong Un, and Kim isn't very happy about it. He's threatening the U.S. with war if the movie gets released.

I don't really see what there is to be offended about - it's an entertaining, comedic fictional movie. I'm pretty sure half the propaganda they show in North Korea depicts the U.S. in an even worse light - and they're completely serious about it.

He's not being made fun of a country, he's being made fun of by the people in it. The US allows freedom of speech, that does not mean the US supports the film.
