Keeping an open mind when trying new foods. #1
Yesterday, I was peer pressured into going to a Thai restaurant for dinner. I've never had interest in Thai food and I've had Thai food once and I didn't like it. My beautiful girlfriend really wanted to go and so I guess we ended up in the restaurant.

I had a negative predisposition already because I knew that I had a negative experience before so it would be difficult to convince me to like the food.

However, once I got my food, I ate my words and the food pretty quickly.

It was pretty delectable. The service was fast, consistent, polite, and the place was clean and quiet. The food was subtle and flavorful at the same time.

Now I have one more place to consider to if I'm ever hungry and undecided about what I want to eat.

Oh right, if you go to a Thai restaurant, make sure you don't get generic dishes like their spring rolls or fried rice. Actually try something new and you might find that you like it. It's a great feeling.
