I like this idea.

I was very attached to the old theme. The new one has grown on me for sure and still has stayed true to the feel of SL.

I'd LOVE to have an option to switch as an upgraded member.

After it is improved we might make the theme upgraded-only.

I switch back and forth every once in a while just to get a fresh view. Having it be a legacy thing doesn't really matter to me, so feel free if you think it's appropriate, especially if users switching back and fourth causes server load or something (I wouldn't have a clue, feel free to roast me on that).

In other words, do it if you think it's right.
