Why would they want to hide though? Its not that secretive to be honest

Google is one of the biggest companies in the world with massive amounts of power over the internet.
If their servers were to get compromised then it would prove to be extremely troublesome for all the users and the company themselves.

(And yeah I hold the idea that the barge is the new location of Google's servers)

Nobody knows what it is yet, as of now people are saying its possibly databases but it could be nothing like it, maybe its a launch for something or a launch for a prototype?

Well I think it's obvious.
Google obviously thinks they're so awesome that they need their own military. By the looks of things they're starting with a naval force.
