Introduction to Keywords
For better SEO, keywords are of the utmost importance, followed by Backlinks, optimization, content, etc.
How?
Whatever you type in the Search engines (such as Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.) as input, is analyzed by the Search Engine as keywords (broken in Spaces, if not enclosed by double-quotes "").
Now, content crawled by the specific Search-Engine's Crawlers (or Bots) which is present in Search-Engine's servers, return the content with those specific keywords.
Simply stating, if you search something in a Search-engine, it is searched in the Content available to the Search-Engine.
Imagine you make 2 threads with the exact same Title and content (aka copy-pasting), the Search-engines crawling that website will catch one thread's keywords, and your site will appear for those specific keywords in the Search-engine.
Now, imagine you make 2 threads with different/unique content, The Search-engines will display the Forum for the keywords present in both of those thread's content.
Simply, you will get more exposure when you have more unique keywords.
The idea is very simple and basic, but works wonders.
The more unique keywords your content has, the more times you appear on Search-engines.
