I ate something called "Nongshim Shin Black" through university. Great if you like spicier food.

Nongshim, Nissin, and Maru-chan are all decent for the most part. Never had anything inedible from them.

An update to this thread 2 months later-- I actually tried cup noodles the other day, 5 spice beef flavour.
It wasn't the best, but I'll keep an eye out for other flavours with higher hopes.

Noodles can differ massively from type to type and brand to brand. I've had a few that are just overloaded with too much salt and too many weird spices and it ruins the flavour a bit.
