You said the keyword, being "reduce". Unfortunately, leeching cannot be eliminated In It's entirety. If the [hide] tags were to be Introduced, measures need to be formulated and Implemented In a way that It will not take away the liberty of the nature In how members post.

In other words, there can be a fine line between what Is/Is not considered as LQ posting, and the last thing this board needs, Is It's member's fearing In how they respond to threads.

You can not post in a thread using hide tags unless you have 25 posts. At that point they are already a member invested into the community and the quality of the community. And if someone is spamming 25 posts to get there it'll be easily detected.
