Since I have returned I have getting more and more messages, so my inbox needs to be cleaned out too often.
(You all know I like to archive things)

So my suggestion is give non upgrade members enough space to hold an extra 25 messages and upgraded members 100.

I think you should clean out your inbox more often. You have plenty of space.

I don't think an increase in PM space will be necessary. Even though, I don't get PMs.

I personally think this is a great idea because, lets say you're subbed to a somewhat popular forum. That easily 90 PM's per day.
