After watching 5 centimeters per second I really fell in love with the scenery and cherry blossom trees
It's at the top of my bucket list of places to visit. So for me to jump to that never having visited.. I'm either stupid or really like the idea of Japan.
On a more realistic note, I am genuinely planning on moving to another country one day: America (I'm English).
A lot of people would pick Japan, just because they watched anime. Once they get there, they're disappointed it's not 2D and there's no subtitles.
Anime is lovely and all. But I'd like to see real Japan. I've watched a lot of travel shows and met a couple people from there. It seems like a place that would both be very familiar (capitalism) but also so foreign.
But yeah, the language barrier would be really difficult.
