I can't name a notable metal band that hasn't covered The Trooper, Aces High, or both and most are really good (because it's impossible to fuck up Maiden), but I think Iced Earth really went above and beyond with this one.
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.
