Hi all,

I'm an old member who saw an advertisement on HF a year ago (i think, if not more) about HistoricForums and I joined it. However, I didn't post anything or maybe one post in the Introduction forum.

Today I decided to come back and take a peek at the forum and noticed that HistoricForums was merged with this current one. Now, my issue is that I can not access my old account on here. I have tried the "Forgot Password" and entered the email which I most likely used to register on HistoricForums but it's saying "Invalid email addresss".

Were the users of the old website removed after merging it with Sinisterly?

No, accounts were merged.
If you remember your username, add _HF to the end, and then try logging in.

Is it possible for the admin to search for my password in the user databse? Because I remember it.

UPDATED:
I was digging through my email few minutes ago, and I finally found my account that was registered on HistoricForums. I joined it on the 19th of December 2013. My username was "Nova". However, I tried logging in with that username and it said "Invalid username/password". So I looked up the name "Nova" on the Member List page and found that a user under the name Nova already exists but joined on the 26th of May 2013. So, that can't be me. I assumed he/she is a member of this website before merging HistoricForums with it.

I tried adding "_HF" but it said the user doesn't exist. Is there any possible way to retrieve my account?

very well possible. Also, @Oni has a habit of deleting accounts with under 5 posts (I'm sorry I forgot to mention this earlier)

I had a chat with Oni and yeah, he told me that my account was most likely deleted because of his habbit.
