Iam Canadian But I like To Visit Usa Every Now And Then With My Family Cause I got Family There And Also My Step Dad Is There And He Is A Permanent Resident OF USA. My mom Married my step dad in USA But my mom and my brother and me knew there was a better life in CANADA for My step dad all we needed to do was get him there and sponsor him and we can live a happy better life together as a family .so all of us being there in USA after There wedding we decided to go back to CANADA but this time with my stepdad and we promised him that it will be better there and it is so we will be able to work things around if we wanted to go visit family in usa , us not having much money we decide to go for a nice drive from Georgia USA to Alberta Canada we sell what my step father had and back what he needs and drive up to true Freedom So we thought.
we Had the most wonderfull drive seeing all the states and sites nothing was going wrong the crappy van we had never broke down and even started the first time everytime which was unusual to us but all that fun and peacefull drive turned around quick as we arrived to the USA/CANADIAN border. we calmly go up to the Canadian border expecting nothing much but they told us to go on in the building for more questions and stuff we had someone attend us very nice lady very respectfull of course because she was Canadian she gave us relatively bad news our step father could not pass for being arrested in usa 15 years ago for possession and DUI"s we could not leave him to go A long way back home alone so we said drive us back down to USA Untill we reach an Grey Hound Bus Station so My Mother Brother And me could go to Canada and wait for him to get some papers fixed so he could pass But When We Thought Was An Easy Fix Quickly Turned TO UNREALISTIC Bull S**T .
We Get To The Usa border they told us there going to search our car Funny Canadian border barley even looked into the van but they told us to get out all mean with a bad attitude but i though maybe cause they have the night shift it was 11:00 pm but as they searched the car they told us to go into the main office in there they told my mother and step father to fill out some papers they did and about 1 hour later waiting they called my step dad into a interrogation room (that was the last time we saw him), we started to worry but about another hour went by and called my mother to a different interrogation room my and my brother started to worry a bit more so about 3 hours pass by we tried to use to bathroom but it was locked and need permission to enter funny as well because the Canadian border had free bathrooms to be used but 20 minutes may have passed after that and we see our mother coming out of a room crying we obviously said what was wrong she had told us that they told her why she kept coming into The United States From Canada back and fourth well she explained we had family and her husband was there and they got married so she had to see him every once in a while some way somehow they were in love but the immigration officer said she is not allowed to do that and you will not be able to enter usa again and we can arrest you right now but we wont they took her finger prints and photo to not let her back in the USA my mom was very very sad for this she had family there but they also told her that why her husband was an american resident he had a criminal record and why they decided to give him residence but my mom explained he has been a resident for about 23 years and he got the criminal record after he became a resident not before they took my step fathers papers and arrested him for absolutely no reason what so ever But maybe because he has been arrested before about 15 years ago so they decide to do it again ? my mom was crying badly and sick to the stomach because of what they told her i was terrified it was about 9 in the morning with no sleep they held us there all night but about 10:30 they said take what you need from your van your being deported to Canada we could not take it none of us had a driver license except for our step dad but he was arrested we asked whats gonna happen to our step dad they said they are deporting him to his home country Guatemala but he has not been there in 23 years my mother said he is american resident they said we dont care we took it away he is not allowed to be american he has a record .
Now just the three of us in the Canadian border the Canadians said were do you need to go and how much money we have we said Alberta and all we have is 25 american dollars they said thats no good so they set us up with a near by hotel about 1 mile away for a free night because we were technically stranded with no family or no one to pick us up they were way to far away so my family and me just so so very sad of what they did to us for no reason they were bored maybe we just kept walking 1 mile with bags in our hands to that hotel. but thats the true story i forever hate america now well maybe at least there government and cops those types of people. And if you want to hear how i made it to Wetaskiwin Alberta with no hope no near family and 25$ Please tell me so i can type that story! to you and everyone to

Btw we were in the north dakota border needed to get to alberta
this happend about a week ago since then my step father is still being detained in jail waiting to be heard from a judge he has to fight for this non sense he has done nothing wrong except go in a circle from usa to canada border back into usa.. my mother still cries every night waiting for this to be resolved we need to hire a loyer and stuff it costs 5000$ USD with barlley any money will be hard for us and more to get him back home and to fix his papers to come back to us in Canada my mom cant go back in usa to see him even if he is released :'( they dont even get to spend there anniversary together thinking about that makes tears come to my eyes
Okay the way i made it from the border to Alberta is also a long story but it is amazing .
As we all Know people make fun of Canadians for being so nice also making fun of the Canadian police i thought it was funny but its too true
my family with some luggage and 20$ walking to a hotel 1 mile away did not know what we were gonna do from there but we were going there anyway very sad walk to the hotel just empty road no cars no people no houses but we were walking .As we got near entering a small little town with about a population of 400 we see the hotel we got really close to it but we had to take a breather for that walk .as we take a break my mom starts to cry again and wonder why all this is happening no food in our system no money no sleep and we are very sad ,we just decide to keep going and go into the hotel and fall asleep for a bit so we started to walk again to the hotel but we were so close we were stopped by an older lady about 70 years of age pure white hair almost glowing it was shiny she was listening to music but asked us were we were going to my mom had told her to the hotel but after that we were gonna try to call my mothers brother to take the long drive to pick us up .but she said well there is nothing around here no bus stops or restaurants and far away from everything , I could take you to the nearest city Winnipeg its about 1 Hour drive from here and maybe you can wait for your brother in a Bus Station we said okay
The Old Lady walked us to her small house and offered us water or to use the bathroom and then she started up the car and we were off to Winnipeg but as we Near a ATM she asked my mother how much money do you have on you .my mom saids Honestly we only have about 25$ The Old Lady said to my mother i cant let you go like that here let me get you something she stepped out of the car and took out a wad of cash from the ATM she said to my mom here is 300$ that should get you at least half way to Edmonton Alberta my mother said i couldn't do that But she insisted my mom started to cry and said God Bless You , But the old lady said if there was A God i Would Be Blessed .she did not believe in God She Was Atheist!
as We Arrive In Winnipeg she could not find the Bus Station Were It Used To be So She said i have a friend here that could help us find it if you dont mind stopping by we agreed i mean she was driving us for free and gave us some money to get home. So we enter Her friends house who Nicely offers something to eat or a bed to sleep in we said no thanks its okay .the lady and her friend find the bus station on the internet and its another hour drive from here so we headed off but when we arrived she went in the Station with us and asked the Cashier How Much it Costs For 3 Tickets from here to Edmonton Alberta He Said 515$ She Said i will buy them we told her here ill help you pay with this 300$ you gave us she said no thanks ill pay for them there my Treat By the way you guys must be hungry let buy you some food, so we went to the nearest restaurant which was in a hotel very fancy luxurious everything way over 10 $ even A simple Burger and fries she bought us all food and the check was 80$ with taxes and the drinks Plus the tea she bought she brought us back to the stations and said there you go call your brother and tell him your own your way already. we all hugged and thanked the old lady we asked how can we repay you and may we have your number all she gave us was a P.O box and said just send me a card and let me know you made it okay and thats all she asked for .
we are safely here in my uncles place now but its still not over how can we help our step dad from here when they have him detained for no reason we know he needs a lawyer but its expensive so are only plans is to wait save money from work pay our bills and one day when we have enough we can help our step dad . Damn Americans have him for No reason telling us he has a criminal record from 15 years ago that he already Served his time for is no excuse.
