At uni. Top 5 uni in my country and I study economics. Used to love it but burnt out and now lounge around and smoke weed. Stopped smoking because I had to fix up but I don’t know what I want to do and kinda want to quit but my parents will kick my ass

Are you parents paying or do you have a full schlorarship? Then definitely not. Do you have a back up plan? Having a useful college degree opens up so many potential doors that many people don't ever have the opportunity of achieving.

I actually dropped out Economics because I felt it was not the right thing for me, I just couldn't study it, I found it boring as fuck. Also I was in the first year, so no regrets. If you are early in the carreer just do whatever you feel like doing. If you are later on think about it carefully and also think about the career you might pursue with Econ. Then make your own evaluations

DO NOT, just grind, ik its hard. You worked so hard to get there in the first place.

if ur close to finishing, I would say stay and ride it out and try ur best, if u have another course that u are more interested in, you can ask if u can transfer to it. Seems like ur just lacking motivation, maybe try quitting bad habits and finding new hobbies

Everything also doesn't have to be so concrete--you can take a semester off, figure out what you want to do and see if college still aligns with that after

Honestly school isn't hard. If you're already in a top university just finish up your degree and tough it out for the short term.

Depending on how much you did already you should just try to finish if not take a break but decide when you will go back. Everyone grows at their own pace
