the illuminati was a group of atheist extremists in the 1600's who believed that it was their duty to wipe out all religion, ultimately creating a 'perfect society'. To do this, they planned on killing everybody except for their own kin, then they would re-populate the world with the ultimate atheists, believing in nothing but what they can prove. However, all of their plans failed as they were under attack constantly by theists. The Illuminati eventually died off, all their artifacts, except for the all-seeing eye were destroyed.


though they may not be completely wiped off the face of the earth, the Illuminati pose no threat to current day society and they most likely will not pose a threat in the future.
