Humble Book Bundle: Hacking #1

So I've been looking over this again and again, and the eBooks look like they'd contain pretty good information. I know you could just as easily pirate them in two seconds. However I wouldn't mind paying $15 for them all. Has anyone else seen this and had any thoughts about it?

$15 for all those books?
That seems like a damn good deal. If only I had $15, or an interest in reading a book.
Whoop Whoop?

A good idea is to start reading any book related to what you want to learn. Get your hands on anything, many books from what I have read has much same information, but you can still learn new things on each book.

I would personally purchase it without a hesitation.

If the content Is worthy of reading and Is of great Interest, then you can't put a price ($15 In this case) on education and happiness as a result of the purchase.

If only I had the time to read an eBook. Due to the enormity of my eBook, I'm struggling to complete It. Every time I finalize one section, I come across another security flaw or exploit that I need to add In.
You're certainly doing the right thing In paying for the eBooks.

I don't know if the books are any good but it seems like a good deal to get that amount of reading material for $15. I rarely read and when I do I never buy any digital copies. I hate reading books from a computer screen.

Might go for it, it's mostly the Python books and the Black Hat one, I saw previews and they seemed promising.

What your saying makes sense, I guess if you wanna learn and there is a book on what you're learning. Go for it. I was just worried maybe they're poorly written. Then again it's $15 so it's a deal to me

I've only been good at reading eBooks if they're gaming or programming related. I'm also someone who usually loves physical copies too

I'm not sure whether there's any reviews for eBooks of this nature, but It may be worth your while to see If there are any and what they have to say.

What you've said makes sense though- In the event of a $15 loss, It's not that big of a deal.

So I purchased the books, I quickly started going through Black Hat Python and unfortunatly the very first link in setting up no longer works which is the same version of Linux he uses throughout the book. However when I'm back to my computer I'll look again. Internet safety book has all the basics and knowledge everyone should have to staying safe. It actually gave me some new info on how to be alerted through Google Alerts. The other books also look promising so if you're looking to grab them, go for it
