How the hell can you run a botnet without it spreading for some pathetic reason? I may get into coding one.

Well making botnet is not that hard
I created mod for Litehttp bot
All you need is PHP Css js and vbnet

I think that if you really have 'advanced programming' skills you should be able to make a botnet without asking this type of question.

A botnet/RAT is just like any other software you code, but with a different functionality & different features.

You can also find open source projects if you really want to have an idea of what the actual code looks like, seems like some users already provided you with some links.
