I have never used proxies before, except HideMyAss occasionally. I would like to know how to use actual proxies. My reasons for this are mine and mine alone, and I know there will be some people who think I am stupid for asking this, but as is stated in my profile and some of my other threads, I am a newb at most computer stuff, so do not be rude.

why dont just google it ? anw i'll try and help go to google search for proxy server list You'll find many sites with lists of proxy servers, their IP address, the port they listen on, and usually what country they are in.
choose what proxy u wanna use !!

now how to use a proxy server !! i expect ure using firefox

b4 start go to http://www.whatismyip.com/ and check ur ip

Instructions for Firefox
1.open menu


2.select preferences


3.Select the Advanced Icon


4.Select the Network tab


5.Under connection select Settings


6.choose "Manual Proxy Configuration"


7.Enter the IP address for the HTTP proxy server


8.Enter the port of the HTTP proxy server


9.Click use this proxy server for all protocols


10.Click Okay


now ur all done go again to http://www.whatismyip.com/ and check that ur ip now is the proxy server ip !!

Keep in mind if you are using free proxies you are going to want to clear caches a lot and don't use your normal browser. It is easy to get infected by a JS bot net using proxies.
