First of all i'm not going to give you a list of 100 proxies, or a top ten over the best VPN's. This is for people who already know how to use a VPN or a proxy and want further information about how to really hide their identity even if worst case senario is faced.

Tips:

1. Never hack from your personal computer.
   
2. Never hack from your own network.
   
3. Use proxies or VPN's all the time.
   
4. Buy your VPN's anonymously
   
5. DO NOT BRAG!
   

1. Last line of defence

You will need a main computer with one hard drive and a legit copy of windows. Use it as a regular computer surf the internet, listen to songs on youtube, check Facebook, chat with friends etc. BUT remember do not visit or do any tech or hacking related stuff on that computer.

Now create a portable version of your favorite OS on a flash drive e.g. Backtrack. Every time you want to do any tech or hacking related stuff boot it up from your flash drive. Just don’t keep your flash drive near your computer except for when you are using it. This is because if you are caught, they can’t find any evidence on your computer. You do not have any logs showing you hacking servers etc. The only thing they will find is your main computer with normal computer stuff on it. This will be the last line of defence.

2. hiding your Hostname/ Ip address/ mac address.

I will assume that you guys have basic knowledge about proxies and VPNs. There is one thing you shall remember, you can’t be 100% anonymous on the internet. But you can make it hard as hell to find you.

You shall never hack anything from your own network. Therefore i will highly recommend you to buy a laptop if you aren’t already having one. Take your laptop and your flash drive containing the OS you will use to hack with. Travel to another city or at least to the other end of the town. Login to free WIFI hotspots.

Purchasing VPNs.

You shall never use a VPN that saves logs. Most free VPNs saves your logs and will gladly give them to law inforcements. Buy a VPN that doesn’t save logs. The best would be to buy it with Bitcoins, but it’s not all VPN providers who is supporting that. Therefore go and buy a prepaid Visa Card. Remember to buy it with CASH, so there wouldn’t be any account statement on that you have bought a prepaid Visa Card. Now buy your VPN with the prepaid Visa Card.

Bragging

This is something that most hackers gets caught on. I do understand you want the fame or the recognition about your work. So if you really can’t live without bragging about your work, you shall create a alias for yourself. Remember that your alias shouldn’t be connected to your real life or name.

This was all. This was just a basic overview guide on how to stay anonymous.

I'm referring to the one you are mainly using at home i.e. your desktop computer which you are also using for surfing Facebook, visit your bank account, play games on etc.

as an added note... when you log onto public wifis... dont do it sitting in a mcdonalds. youre on video. especially not with food you just paid with your debit/credit card

Yeah, risky. I mean these hackers always seem to get caught. I mean if they can hack in to political stuff why can't they hide them self's or does have to do with government having the better tech

Most hackers gets caught because it requires so much work to stay anonymous. Even the smallest thing like the McDonald's case can get you caught. Take a look at the case with Sabu, he got caught because his VPN service was down for an hour or so. You cannot imagine how much work it requires.
