The language you used the OP hardly alludes to attempting to open up a discussion on your beliefs. You assert that your way is the only correct way, and that if you don't hold the same beliefs you are a "sheep", a term you use pejoratively, which, in itself, is a form of abuse designed to make people comply, using the same social pressures you claim to rally against.
It is okay to be socially influenced, everyone is. The important line to draw is that you don't let others think for you, only set that which you value and see as moral.
For example, as an American( yes, I'm assuming you're American ), you have less problem with rampant violence on TV and in other visual media, but take issue to any form of sexual conduct on those same forms of media.
Someone raised in Europe, however, is more likely to view the amount of violence as repulsive, while sexuality is merely a normal part of life. That doesn't make either person a sheep, as they may be able to logically think through why either side of the argument is correct, but it does show that social influence is a real thing that happens to all of us.
