How to gym and nutrition intro #1
Currently, in the world, there is a large number of people who suffer from obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, and low testosterone. The increased sedentary lifestyle of people nowadays is extremely difficult as well with the amount of processed foods we ingest as well. All in all the cure to this problem is living a health-conscious lifestyle, a lot easier said than done. And there are also a lot of factors that come into play as well like hormone conditions and more physiological-based conditions. My experience in this field is quite extensive, I have both personal and clinical experience helping people get to where they want to be, and I personally really liked helping rehab patients with musculoskeletal problems. I say personal as well because, at one point in my life, I was obese, I did the diets and research and lost the weight, and I have also helped hundreds of people lose weight and keep it off. I want to help people reach their goals and I don't like to sugarcoat things, I like to be brutally honest because when it comes to your health it's paramount. If you wondering what my credentials are I'm in my 2nd year of residency going into orthopedics. I may decide to go into PM&R as well but we’ll see. I understand kinesiology very well and exercise science, this is my passion. I also worked at a rehab center/PT clinic, and I enjoyed that, I like endocrinology, and I am on TRT because I believe it is healthy for the right people and should be prescribed by primaries under the right circumstances. Nutrition is also something I find very interesting and knowledgeable in. So if you have any questions please feel free to ask and I'm gonna make some more threads about topics I find interesting in the medical field like TRT and stuff like that.

Hey, thx I'm really passionate about what I do and just hope to be able to share some knowledge and experience. There's a lot of info out there and it can be sometimes hard to tell the truth from the fake news. I’m gonna make a post soon on how to workout and stuff.

Simply put you just have to eat more. My buddy “struggled” with a “high metabolism”. But in reality he wasn’t eating enough. I have had patients complain of not being able to gain wait but when I ask them to keep a logged diary of food intake they hardly eat anything. The biggest thing I can say is track your calories. Find out what your BMR is (Basic Metabolic Rate), essentially how much your body burns just to allow you to function and then they’ll add another 400-500 calories on top depending on how active you are. We’ll use the national average of 2000 calories a day as an example. If you eat more then those 2000 calories your gonna gain weight. If you eat less of those calories you’re gonna lose weight. Simply put calories in calories out. Now a tip I would give patients is to eat higher carb foods and higher fat foods to gain weight. Because usually the biggest issue with people who struggle to gain weight is the amount of volume they need to consume. They’re not used to it. Coming from being an ex big boy I can put food away, volume is no issue for me, but if you come from the opposite side of the spectrum you’re just not used to it. So I would recommend prioritize your protein, and then eat whatever the hell you want on top of it If you purely want to gain weight to put on some mass for muscle. I wouldn’t go over a 500 calorie surplus a day l, anything more than that and your gonna be gaining a lot of fat. But at 500 calories a day you should be gaining 1 lbs a week easily. If your lifting weights you’ll deff see the difference. I was able to get my buddy who was literally anorexic at 115 lbs to a really solid 185 lbs. Tbh his physique is better then mine.

If you also struggle with gaining wait mass gainer is an option. I usually don’t like having patients take it because it’s full of just a lot of sugar and filler material and will often cause some digestion problems. But a patient recently told me about M.R.E brand mass gainer and its macros and nutrients from what I’ve heard are well and very well tolerated. So if you absolutely need to get a mass gainer to gain some weight I would do that one it’s macros are like 500 calories for 47 grams of protein which is really good tbh. Also pro tip if you want to get cheaper supplements go and support you local gym bro owned supplement stores I usually get a good hookup from them. Or ofc you can SE some but up to you lmao

Oh, it's you again? I've done extensive research in various health-related areas. This is more of an intense and health-focused hobby for me. I'll tell you what, if you have expertise in business, I can offer assistance with anything related to cancer, diseases, nutrition, skincare, exercise, and overall health related if you can help me.. Fair trade sir.

Umm yeah? I don’t really understand what you mean lmao. I got my bachelors degree in Kinesiology. I also took the necessary classes to be pre-med and got into med school. I actually enjoy teaching people about health and helping them out, my biggest thing has always been to leave the patient with a good knowledge of what’s going on with them before I leave the room with them as to not leave them wondering. I worked in both clinical and rehab facilities so I believe I have a decent grasp of what I’m talking about.
