How to get BackTrack 5 on Windows 09-04-2011, 02:10 AM

Programs needed:
Virtual Box : http://www.virtualbox.org/
Backtrack 5 iso : http://www.backtrack-linux.org/
1 : Open Virtual Box.
Spoiler:
2 : Click New
Spoiler:
3 : Click Next and name it BackTrack 5 and operating system Linux.
Spoiler:
4 : Give it as much memory as you think is good.

5 : Create New Hard Disk
Spoiler:
3 : Choose VDI
Spoiler:
7 : Choose Dynamically Allocated
Spoiler:
8 : Give it 8.18 Gig's
Spoiler:
9 : Click Create
10 : Now the BackTrack 5 Should be created

11 : Select BackTrack and click settings!
Spoiler:
12 : Go to storage and click on empty see the spoiler for more info

13 : Click on the little CD and locate the BackTrack Virtual Image

14 : Now click ok

15 : Now Click Start at the Top
Spoiler:
16 : Click enter when the Black Text Comes up and then BackTrack will popup

17 : When the BackTrack pop's up Click the Default Boot Tex Mode

18 : When the Big Window Comes up type startx and click enter

19 : Congratulations you have got BackTrack 5 Now
