How to connect to the official IRC of HackCommunity

I don't like the attitude "is it dead yet?". Simply it would make it more active if people actually stay.. If you simply join and leave because the activity does not seem right, well.. Then you're not really helping.

I'am not using irc programs myself but i think its a good idea if theres a place where HC members can chat active with eachother..
it might needs some time does it?
maybe some more promotion? i think there people who weren't aware of this at all like me.
