Today I will be going through a very easy tutorial that won't take you 1 minute to do.
(maybe)

Im sure many people get annoying emails from random people you don't know and want to find out what their ip address is.

1.Requirements

Internet connection
Email address
----------------------------------------------------------------------

In this tutorial I will be using gmail.I know you can do this with the mac mail thing but I will not show you that now.If you want to know pm me.

Heres an email from my friend.

Now click the arrow thats pointing down on the very right.
Then click show original

After you click that it will take you to a link with a bunch of stuff.
At the very top you will see something like this.



Then if you want to track where the person lives you can use a site like this

http://www.iplocation.net

However these websites are often inaccurate but you can at least find out which country they are in, unless they are using a vpn or something :p

I think that's the IP of SMTP server, not the IP of the actual user who sent you the email, because when you send email, message goes from your computer to the SMTP server, and then it is sent to your inbox. Before that to the SMTP server of your provider.
