Hello Fellow Members Of HC, Today I'm gonna give you another useful tutorial. Since we browsing internet, We got lot of links, Some links are fake or phishing links - So how can we identify this kind of links? Yeah, It's easy...

We have some various ways to do this, Now I'm gonna give some few methods for it.

I think you forgot to mention one of the best and most used tools.

WOT: It stands for "Web of trust" and is in my opinion one of the best site ranking tools out there.

Also Kaspersky do also have that feature and i do also find it quite good.

This will also help those users of firefox stay safe from Phishing sites that use short URL's, by revealing their full URL:

Also: Use your brain.
If you get an e-mail, hover the link (do not click on it), so you see the real address and know if the link is masked.
Look for wrong spelling.
Don't trust shortened URL's (tinyURL, adfly). Use a tool to get the URL that the shortener service will redirect you to (example: http://www.hackcommunity.com/Thread-Java...w-real-URL).
For important stuff (i.e. banking, Paypal) always type in the URL, don't use links at all.
